HPP is one of the leading competition law firms in Finland. We provide our clients with solution-oriented service concerning any issues related to competition law. Our competition law practice is experienced in considering a case from various aspects, including dispute resolution, business needs of the client and any regulatory or enforcement risk.

Our experience includes acting as authorised representatives on two of Finland’s largest cartel cases involving the forestry and infrastructure sectors. HPP also has strong sector-specific experience in the pharmaceutical, transport, media, food, ICT, air traffic, construction and energy sectors.

HPP’s competition lawyers regularly give lectures at seminars focusing on EU and competition law and train client companies and trade organisations on the importance of and compliance with competition regulations. We provide training packages to clients on competition law issues such as vertical agreements, cartels, compliance programmes and public procurement. These are tailored to meet the individual needs of companies and trade organisations and form an integral part of the service we offer.

Our experts provide advice ranging from negotiations with competition authorities (including leniency applications) to any related court proceedings. Additionally, clients can rely on our realistic and practical advice when deciding on how to address any situations where their operations may be adversely affected by cooperation between competitors. Training seminars at trade organisations and compliance programmes tailored for client company management and personnel also play an important role in our service offering.
